Srinagar, Feb 02 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Central Zone President Ali Muhammad Dar on Saturday rejected the recent Jibes of PDP General Secretary G N Lone Hanjura as a disgraceful attempt to absolve his party and his leaders from the plethora of crimes it committed on the people of Kashmir by tying up with BJP.
Ali Muhammad Dar while rejecting the allegations of Hanjura as uncouth and unsubstantiated said, “The assertions of Hanjura reveal his sheer ignorance about the facts pertaining to Kashmir history.”
“The history of National Conference is replete with service and sacrifice. It was Sher-e –Kashmir who changed the fortune of wretched peasantry of the state by giving them the revolutionary land to tiller rights. It went a long way in eradicating the abject poverty of people,” he said adding that National Conference has always represented the aspirations of people and tried its level best to rise up to the expectations of people in every consecutive decade.
“Single line administration, district development board, and other effective initiatives in education, health sector and ensuring gender neutral adult franchise are just few high-flying feathers in our cap,” he said adding that on the contrary Mufti’s have had a history of contriving against the very special status of our state.
Ali Muhammad Dar also said that Mufti as a right hand man of Late GM Sadiq was equally responsible in obliterating the very essence of political autonomy of the state within the union of India.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“What was left of our autonomy, the mufti’s took it upon themselves to destroy it. Late Mufti as a sequacious congressman has a history of intimidating every sincere effort of ours serving the people of state. As the home minister in GOI, Mufti owing to his consternation for state’s special identity tried his level best to destroy the very fabric of amity and brotherhood in state. Mufti was instrumental in extending draconian laws like AFSPA to our state,” he said adding that it was Jagmohan-Mufti camaraderie that presided over 18 massacres from Gawkadal to Hawal.
“No sophistry and passing the blame can help the apologists of PDP to help them absolve their leadership from the havoc they unleashed on the people of Kashmir,” he said adding that Mufti’s are the ones who owing to their lust for power opened flood gates for all forces who are hell bent to destroy the very identity of our state.
“Never in history have our institutions been attacked and robbed off their working autonomy as was done during the former BJP-PDP government. Fiddling with JK bank, implementation of GST, extension of many central laws including SARFEASI act, NFSA, civilian killings, mass blinding, and maiming are the star achievements of former PDP led government,” he said.
