Minister of State for PHE, Forest, Animal Husbandry and Irrigation & Flood Control, Mr. Abdul Majeed Padder has said the state government led by Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is striving hard for welfare and socio-economic uplift of people besides making J&K State a model and prosperous State.
The Minister said this while addressing series of public meetings in Noorabad constituency here today.
Accompanied by the SDM and officers of District Administration, Kulgam, the Minister visited Asnoor, Watloo, Check Watloo, Lamang Marg, Mirwani, Adabal, Koreal, Manzgam and other areas of Noorabad Constituency and took stock of developmental works.
At Asnoor village, the Minister announced Rs 3 lakh for playground from CDF so that local youth are provided platform to exhibit their talent in sports activities which is pivotal for development of their mental and physical health.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
During his visit, Mr Padder visited the Lamanmarg where a gas cylinder burst few days back due to which members of a family were injured. The Minister directed concerned authorities to provide adequate ex-gratia relief to the family under Red Cross fund.
The Minister also inspected the Khudhanjipora-Reshinagar Shopian incomplete bridge on Vishav River and instructed the concerned to restart the work on the bridge and complete the work on project at an earliest so that habitations of two districts are connected and people are benefitted.
Later, the Minister in a meeting asked officers to be prompt and responsive to the public issues and ensure availability of all basic amenities and facilities to them without any difficulty. He enjoined upon them to improve work culture and work with the spirit of human service.
