Srinagar, Nov 09 (KNS): Mufti Bashiru Din, who is the chairman of JK Muslim Personal Law Board, has stayed away from meeting Center's special representative Dineshwar Sharma during his three day visit to Kashmir despite invitation by the government.
In reply to the invitation by the divisional administration , Mufti has written a letter to Divisional Commissioner Kashmir saying that Kashmir dispute can be resolved through UN resolutions or tripartite dialouge bewteen India, Pakistan and Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
"What role will the interlcoutor play in the resolution? We dont think that Government of India is serious in resolving the issue," he said in the letter.
Sharma was in the valley for three days where he met dozens of delegations and mainstream political leaders to begin the dialouge process.
Hurriyat and apex trade bodies stayed away from meeting him. (KNS)
