Mudasir urges for special arrangements for Shabe Qadr

Srinagar, April  13 (KNS): Urging the LG administration to put in place all the facilities at all religious places across J&K and in the particular valley to facilitate devotees with hassle-free movement to revered shrines, Mosques and Imambargah's, Youth General Secretary JKPC Mudasir Karim has said that there is a need to ensure proper sanitation, water facilities, security , traffic management, 24x7 electricity facilities, and appropriate transport / parking facilities during Shabe Qadr nights at all places. He also urged to ensure that all the street lights leading to these mosques and along the roads are made functional for the hassle-free movement of the general public.


He said that during Shab e Qadr across the valley, the mosques and shrines will be reverberated with the recitation of the holy Quran at night as the devotees will throng various places of worship to offer night long prayers on this occasion.

Mudasir said that the blessed night of Shab-e-Qadr is considered the most important night in the Islamic calendar where Muslims spend the whole night attending religious gathering and praying all night till dawn.

The biggest congregations will be held at Dargah (Hazratbal), Jamia Masjid, Imam Bargha Zadibal, Imam Bargah Hassanabad, Imam Bargah Bemina and other mosques where thousands of people will join the special prayers during this night and also listened to sermons on the teachings of Islam.

Urging for special arrangments including proper water and electric supply including smooth traffic movement during these nights Mudasir said that the administration should put all efforts in place for the facilitation of the public during these pious days.(KNS)
