Srinagar, Jan 12 (KNS): Extending greetings on National Youth Day, JKPC Youth General Secretary Organization Mudasir Karim has said that this day which is also celebrated as Vivekananda Jayanti (The birthday of Swami Vivekananda) is to commemorate the philosophy of Swamiji and the ideals for which he lived and worked is a great source of inspiration for the Indian Youth Day. Karim said that the ideas of Swami Vivekananda ideals the youth of our country as he personified the eternal energy of youth and their restless quest for truth.
He said that the struggle of Swami Vivekananda encourages us as a youth to work tirelessly for a better future and development of the country and the philosophy continues to inspire people of all ages and religions. Karim added that the Youths should emphasise on education, self-improvement and social responsibility which sets as an inspirational goal for the betterment of our future and country.
Stressing upon the youth to envisage all possible efforts to highlight the genuine grievances faced by the youth of J&K and bring them to the notice of the administration to get early redressal.(KNS)
