Srinagar, Dec 17 (KNS): MRI services at Government SMHS Hospital and Government Super Speciality Hospital, Shireen Bagh, Srinagar, will resume from December 18, the Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar said on Wednesday.
The Administrator, GMC Srinagar, said the MRI facility had been temporarily suspended due to scheduled maintenance involving de-icing of the magnet to ensure optimal performance and uninterrupted functioning of the equipment.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said the de-icing process has been successfully completed and the facility is now ready for use.
Accordingly, MRI investigations will once again be conducted within the hospital campus, which is expected to provide relief to patients and ensure continuity of diagnostic services, the Administrator said.
Hospital authorities advised patients and clinicians to resume routine MRI scheduling from Thursday.(KNS)
