Moulana Qasmi Expresses Gratitude for Condolences on Mother’s Demise

Bandipora, August 21 (KNS) : Prominent Islamic scholar and rector of Darul Uloom Raheemiya, Bandipora, Moulana Muhammad Rehmatullah Qasmi has extended heartfelt gratitude to all those who visited him, attended the funeral, or conveyed condolences on the demise of his mother.

Misra Begum, mother of Moualana Qasmi passed away on August 15 evening after a brief illness. Hundreds of people from across the valley participated in the funeral prayers.

Quoting a Hadith, “Whoever does not thank people, does not thank Allah,” Moulana Qasmi said the overwhelming support from people, both in person and through various means, had been a source of strength for the bereaved family.

“Innumerable well-wishers prayed for my late mother, attended the funeral with devotion, and offered condolences according to the Sunnah for three consecutive days. Many also informed us that they performed acts of charity and prayers for conveying reward (Isal-e-Sawab) to the departed soul. May Allah accept them all and grant everyone the best of rewards,” he said in a statement.
