Kupwara July 04 (KNS): Two persons were killed while another was injured after a motorcycle was hit by a load carrier in Retnag area of Lolab in Kupwara district on Monday.
A police official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that three persons were riding on a bike when they were hit by a load-carrier in Retnag village of Lolab.
In the incident, he said that the biker and pillion rider were killed, while another one was injured.
The official added that the load carrier driver fled from the spot but later was identified and arrested.
The driver has been identified as, Hilal Ahmad Khan Son of Mohammad Yousuf Khann of Lolab.
The vehicle under bearing number, JK09 9247, has been seized, driver has been also arrested, under FIR no 37/2022 us 279,337,304A IPC.
The deceased have been identified as Adil Hussain Shah and Rashid Hussain Shah of Baba Hayatpora village of Lolab. (KNS)
