International charity organisation, Mother Helpage Worldwide plans to deliver aid packets to 30,000 destitute living in remote locations and substandard conditions this year.
“Most of these people have been victims of the conflict. This includes orphans, widows and the elderly. As citizens of humanity it falls upon us to assist them in their time of need. Eid-ul-Adha serves as a perfect occasion to extend our support by donating Qurbani to Mother Helpage,” a statement of the charity organization said.
Mother Helpage Worldwide, has worked on several projects in Kashmir in the last two decades and provided succour to thousands of destitute.
