Srinagar, Jul 10 (KNS): Though the situation in Kashmir continue to remain violent following the killing of Hizb commander, Burhan Muzaffar Wani along with his two associates on Friday, more than 100 people have been shifted to District hospital Anantnag for treatment.
Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Anantnag, Dr Majid Mirab told KNS that more than hundred people are currently being treated in the hospital. “They have received bullet and pellet injuries during the clashes and were admitted in the hospital for treatment,” he said.
He said that he has not exact figures of the injured person but they are guessing that more than 100 injured persons are currently being treated in the hospital.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Kashmir News Service has earlier reported that Government Medical College (GMC) Principal, Dr Kaisar has said that 96 injured persons are being treated in two hospitals in Srinagar who were injured in ongoing violence in Kashmir.
He has said, “84 youth are being treated in Srinagar’s Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) hospital while 12 are being treated in Bone and Joint hospital in Barzulla.”
“The youth have received bullet or pellet injuries,” he said. (KNS)
