Srinagar, Oct 08 (KNS): Condemning the killing of young boy Junaid Akhoon of 12 years of Iddgah (Sgr), MLC and Vice President G. N. Monga has expressed deep sorrow and grief over this killing and termed it most unfortunate and anguishing.
He said the killings of innocent people is adding more anger to the people the fire of which has already engulfed the whole valley and other Parts of the State. The endless atrocities on civilians has turned the situation from bad to worse, as a result the situation is same today as it was three months ago. Unfortunately, government has not been able to contain such type of incidents as yet, which is indicative of the utter failure of the government to restore normalcy in the Valley.
He said it is quite astonishing that on the one hand government is forcing children to attend schools and on the other it is not able to ensure safety of the young boys even in their homes.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe killings and atrocities on civilians is creating fear psychosis among the children, which is not a healthy sign for their future.
Mourning the killing of young Junaid Akhoon, Monga sought clarity from the Govt over the unabated killings and demanded stern action against those involved in killing innocent people under the garb of protests.
Meanwhile Congress Leader Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan has strongly condemned the Killing of Juanid Akhoon a School going children who was not part of any protest. He demanded stern action against the personnel involved in Killing Junaid.
Expressing grief over the loss of precious life, he sympathized with the bereaved family and offered condolences. (KNS)
