Jammu February 13 (KNS): In a significant political development in Jammu & Kashmir, Mohammad Yaseen Churisaaz has resigned from the basic membership as well as from the post of Senior Vice District President, Srinagar, of the Jammu & Kashmir People’s Conference.


After what he described as “thoughtful consideration,” Yaseen formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party headquarters in Jammu. He was inducted into the party in the presence of senior BJP leaders, including Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organisation), along with other prominent party functionaries.

Yaseen stated that his decision to join the BJP was taken in the larger interest of public service, development, and ensuring lasting peace and prosperity in Jammu & Kashmir. He emphasized that he would continue to serve the people with honesty, integrity, and unwavering commitment under the leadership of the BJP.

He also extended his thanks to the leadership and party workers of the Jammu & Kashmir People’s Conference for their cooperation and support during his tenure.
