Srinagar, Oct 14 (KNS): A free public medical camp was today organised at Tengpora-Bakshipora of Eidgah Constituency where scores of people received free medical checkup.

The free medical camp was inaugurated by Apni Party Youth General Secretary, In-charge Eidgah Constituency and Corporator SMC Mohammad Ashraf Palpori. 

Besides, the inaugural ceremony was graced by Major General Vishvas Rao GOC 31 Sub Area and Colonel HP Singh, Lt Colonel Satender Kinha, Major Utsav 24 RR Concerned and SHO Sangam Ajaz Ahmed.

On this occasion, Palpori said that such social events help to bolster a bond among the public who need medical treatment for free in a time when there is high prices to maintain medical health.

"People always need the organisation of these public centric events which promote a civic sense among people and gives them opportunities to get free medicine," he said.

Palpori thanked the organisers of this event for facilitating this important program that has helped poor and underprivileged sections to get medical benefits.

The locals also lauded the efforts of Mohammad Ashraf Palpori and the organisers besides vowing to strengthen him in the upcoming Assembly Elections.(KNS)
