Mohammad Ashraf Hakak Conferred with ‘Pride of India Award’ for Exemplary Service in Healthcare

Srinagar, Oct 4 (KNS) : Mohammad Ashraf Hakak (JKAS), Administrator of Associated Hospitals, Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, has been honoured with the ‘Pride of India Award’ for his outstanding contribution to healthcare administration and public service.

The award was presented during a felicitation ceremony on Saturday, where Dr. Iffat Hussan Shah, Principal GMC Srinagar, and Sarwar Khan, Director ACFI Kashmir, jointly honoured Hakak for his commitment to strengthening the medical administration framework in Jammu and Kashmir.

Officials said Hakak was recognised for his efforts in improving hospital management systems, ensuring efficient service delivery, and maintaining transparency and accountability in healthcare operations. His administrative initiatives have significantly contributed to better patient care and staff welfare across GMC’s associated hospitals.
