MMU grieved over demise of Moulvi Manzoor Ahmad Kirmani

Srinagar, Feb 22:(KNS) Jammu & Kashmir Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulema has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of renowned Islamic scholar and Imam and Khateeb of Jamia Masjid Handwara Moulvi Manzoor Ahmad Kirmani, who lost his life in a tragic road accident.

 

In a statement, the Majlis-e-Ulema while paying rich tributes to Moulana Manzoor Ahmad Kirmani for his religious, social and milli services in Handwara and Kupwara said the deceased’s family is highly respected in the area.Whenever the MMU president Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq used to visit the Handwara and Kupwara, the deceased would play a pivotal role in making the programmes successful, the statement said, adding that Moulana Kirmani was a pious person and a man of noble character.

 

On the sad demise of Moulana Manzoor Kirmani, the MMU on behalf of its members especially its incarcerated Patron Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir expressed heartfelt condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family especially with his brother Mufti Nizamuddin Nadwi. It prayed for highest place in Jannah for the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.(KNS)
