Srinagar, March 12 (KNO): Muttahid-e-Masjlis Ulema on Tuesday called for a complete shutdown on Saturday and protest after Friday prayers in response to summon issued by National Investigation Agency (NIA) to Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and ban on Jama’at-e-Islami.

Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam condemned the summoning of Mirwaiz and ban on Jamaat-e-Islami and appealed people to observe complete shutdown on Saturday to protest against the moves.
He also called for protests post Friday congregational prayers against such moves. (KNS)
