Shopian, Mar 12 (KNS): PDP legislator from Wachi Assembly segment in Shopian district, Advocate Aijaz Mir, today visited his constituency and assured the people that PDP is committed to fulfill the agenda of development that the party has promised to people during elections.
While addressing people in Reban and other areas, Mir said that the demands and grievances of the people related to the development will be fulfilled by the PDP.
Mir said that the ongoing construction of bridge over Tongri stream in Reban-Khujpora will be completed soon. “The bridge is a vital connectivity in the area. I assure you that it will be completed within the deadline,” Mir said.
The legislator took stock of other ongoing development activities in the segment and directed the officials concerned to complete all the works that have been taken up in the last ten months.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Mir said that the development work taken up in the last ten months will be carried forward. He said that several projects were allotted for Wachi and when these projects are completed, they will give a fillip to development in the district and will change the shape of the area.
“More projects are in pipeline. All these projects once completed will change the face of Wachi which was ignored by the NC-led government during its rule,” he said. Besides Deputy Commissioner Shopian, other officials accompanied the MLA during the visit. (KNS)
