Srinagar, Jan 30 (KNS): Affirming to take forward the vision of Peoples Democratic Party patron and former chief minister, late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, PDP legislator, Advocate Aijaz Mir said that the development and peace of the state was prime focus of the party.
Mir was addressing to the party workers in his Wachi Assembly segment in Shopian district during his visit to the constituency.
“Mufti Sahab had a great vision for the peace, progress and development of the state. Being his follower and party workers, we have to carry forward his agenda,” Mir said.
The legislator said that it was difficult to fill the statesmanship vacuum created by Mufti’s demise, but he said that the party under the leadership of president, Mehbooba Mufti, will definitely take forward the dream and vision of the late PDP patron for the state.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Mir along with the party workers of prayed for the late Mufti’s soul.
Mir addressed the workers in Aglar, Drawni, Narwani and Bandpawa villages of the constituency.
The workers vowed to support the legislator and the party in taking forward the development vision of their deceased leader.
During the two-day visit to the constituency, the legislator said he took stock of the ongoing development works which were approved in the last several months after he was elected by the people. (KNS)
