Kupwara 10 Mar (KNS): MLA Kupwar Bashir Ahmad Dar today convened a joint officers meeting at DC Complex Kupwara to review the pace of on-going development works in the Kupwara division carried out by the different executing agencies. The MLA was accompanied by the senior Leader Peoples Conference Mohd Majnoon Mir, Constituency Head Gh rasool and others.
Threadbare discussions were held on various issues which mainly include physical and financial achievements for 2015-16 under district plan, progress working of R&B department and Supply position of CA&PD food grains.
During the meeting, Bashir Ahmad Dar impressed upon officers to redouble their efforts for development of the district. He directed Tourism Department to work towards promotion of border tourism and including Chokibal, Reddi, TP ,Awoora ,Tumina and other areas on border tourism Map.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said that the health sector in the border areas in his constituency should be the “top most” priority.
Addressing the officers, MLA Bashir Ahmad Dar said that Government is committed to provide corruption free, transparent and accountable administration to the people of the Kupwara. He asked the officers to work with added zeal, dedication, sincerity and help to strengthen the democratic fabric of the Frontier District.
