Iftkhar Ahmed, MLA Rajouri, visited the Government Medical College & Associated Hospital Rajouri at around 12:30 AM to enquire about the health condition of patients injured in a Tempoo accident at Panihad Village of District Rajouri.

 

During the late-night visit, the MLA personally met the injured patients admitted in the hospital and interacted with their attendants to assess the treatment being provided. He directed the concerned officials and hospital administration to ensure immediate, proper, and uninterrupted medical care without any negligence.

 

He also visited various sections of the hospital including the ICU, X-Ray, and Ultrasound departments to verify the presence of staff and the functioning of essential services. While interacting with doctors and paramedical staff, he politely directed them to strictly follow proper uniform protocols during duty hours and maintain professionalism at all times.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Iftkhar Ahmed acknowledged that several issues in the hospital need to be addressed. He assured the public that he is actively working to resolve these concerns and strengthen healthcare facilities in the district. He further stated that he will not allow anyone to compromise with the lives of the people and will take all necessary steps to safeguard public health.
