Banihal, Dec 30 (KNS): With an objective of taking stock of the demands and grievances of the people of Ramsoo and other adjoining areas, former minister and MLA Banihal Mr Vikar Rasool wani convened a public darbar at people's door step in Ramsoo.in which all the officers of distt and tehsil administration besides a large number of people hailing from Sub division Ramsoo and its adjoining areas participated in the meeting and raised their demands related to power and water supply, education, medical facilities and road connectivity. The MLA Banihal Mr Vikar Rasool wani directed the officers of Power Development Department to take adequate steps to augment power supply in the area. He also assured the people that two new transformers would be installed very soon for improving the power scenario in the area, besides also assured for release of funds for creation essential feeder at Receiving Station Ramsoo to minimise the customers load. The officers of PHE Department were asked to ensure the early disposal of public issues related to the restoration of Water supply in different areas of Pogal paristan and Ramsoo area and construct new water reservoirs so that the people get clean drinking water.
In the day long public darbar at Ramsoo Banihal MLA Banihal take stock of people's grievances from every knock and corner of the area asked the officers of the concerned departments to alert their field staff for legitimate the public sufferings and also create awareness among the masses about various State and centrally sponsored schemes being launched by the Government for the welfare of the common masses.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He called upon people to take utmost benefit of these schemes for improving their socio economic profile.
While speaking on the occasion Vikar Rasool wani said that the sole aim of holding public darbar in different parts of his assembly segment is get feedback on the working all departments at ground level So that the required steps be timely taken for the benefit of public.
During the public darbar, Vikar Rasool assures to the public that every possible step would be shortly taken to address the highlighted issues.
He assured for started construction work on disputed roads besides improvising the power senerìo of the area.
He also assured that Tehsil status to Ramsoo and upgradaition of Local high school to level of Higher secondary school is in his active considerations.
Besides others, SDM Ramsoo Er Waqar Ahmed Giri, Tehsildar Niaz Ahmed wani and senior Congress leader and Secretary Pradesh congress committeMr Imtayaz Ahmed khanday, farooq Ahmed Katoch and the officers of various departments including PHE, PWD(R&B), Education, RDD department, Agriculture, Horticulture and other allied departments were present in the meeting.
