Srinagar, Jul 20 (KNS): Muslim League Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday said that the arrest of Muhammad Akbar Dar and Wahid Ahmad Gujree instead of District President Anantnag, Sabzar Ahmad Turabi is ‘unjustified’.
According to the statement issued to KNS, the ML spokesman, Sajad Ahmad Ayoubi demanded immediate release of the ML chairman, Masarat Aalam Bhat, Muhammad Rafiq Ganie, Abdul Ahad Parra, Asadullah Paray, Muhammad Rafiq Gotapori, Tariq Ahamd Ganie, Mehraj-ud-din Nanda, Hakeem Showkat, Molvi Sajad, Irshad Ahmad Parra, Zahoor Ahmad Kana, Javaid Ahmad Najar, Shakeel Ahmad Bhat, Mufti Nadeem, Fayaz Ahmad Talaq, Umar Rashid Wani, Khan Sopori, Sarjan Barkati, Ameer Hamza, Muhammad Shabaan Dar, Sheikh Muhammad Ramzan, Mufti Shabir, Shakeel Ahmad Itoo, Javaid Ahmad Fila and others.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The spokesman said that the leaders and the activists have been placed under detention for their political stance. “The opinion of people is being suppressed by the power,” he said.
He said that there are no values of human rights in Kashmir. “The jails are flooded with the innocent Kashmiris,” he said.
The spokesman also appealed rights group to take notice on the continuous detention of youth and play their role to release the arrested youth. (KNS)
