Srinagar, Jan 10 (KNS): Senior Hurriyat (G) leader and Muslim League (ML) chairman, Massarat Aalam Tuesday expressed grief over the demise of Abdul Hamid Teli’s mother and Muhammad Syed Bhat’s father.
According to ML spokesman, the ML leaders, Abdul Hamid Teli, resident of Kurhama Kulgam and Muhammad Syed Bhat, resident of Mattan Islamabad are undergoing life imprisonment.
The spokesman said that Aalam expressed solidarity with the bearded families and prayed for the eternal peace to the departed souls and for their heavenly abode.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Aalam said, “It is very unfortunate and shameful that the party leaders who are undergoing life imprisonment were not allowed by the authorities to participate in the last rites of their parents.”
Meanwhile, Aalam prayed for the patience of the bereaved families. (KNS)
