Pays tribute to slain Naseer, M Ameen Mir

Srinagar, Nov 03 (KNS): Muslim League on Saturday strongly condemned the assassination of Maulana Sami ul Haq by some unknown attackers.
According to spokesman of party, Sajad Ayoubi, in a statement issued to KNS said that Maulana Sami ul Haq was a towering Islamic scholar whose main aim and objective was the stability of Pakistan and unity in Muslim Ummah.
He said that “he was the strong supporter of free Kashmir and was against to Indian oppression and occupation. He supported always legitimate demand of people of Kashmir and played his role at all levels for the implementation of UN resolutions for the settlement of Kashmir dispute.”
Ayoubi said that “Maulana Samiul Haq was assassinated because he stood firm on his mission to counter the conspiracies of enemies to destabilize Pakistan.”
He further said “we have been deprived of an important religious leader whose services would always be remembered.”
Sajad Ayoubi said that in this hour of grief, Muslim League Jammu & Kashmir prayed for heightening of the stages of the departed soul in the hereafter and grant patience to the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Muslim League also paid tributes to slain Naseer and M Ameen.
Ayoubi said that high level delegations led by Muslim League General Secretary M Rafiq Ganie with Ab Rashid and Manzor Ahmad visited Gulabad Sopore and Drangbal Pampore to condolence with bereaved families.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Rafiq A Ganie while addressing huge gathering said that “our youth and scholars laying their precious lives to resist forced occupation.”
He said that “for the last 6 decades we have seen only the brutal face of India, lived a life of uncertainty, chaos and harassment, have only shouldered the coffins of our dear ones, seen only death and destruction are around. This gloomy situation has forced our high qualified scholars and intellectuals to take the extreme step. They prefer to be a rebellion than to live a life of slavery.”
He said, “these youths not laying their lives for material gains in fact sacrificing their bright carriers to serve their nation with blood to end age old slavery. Nation of Jammu Kashmir will always remember and cherish these sacrifices.”
He said “the graph of incidents human rights violations is alarmingly going up with every passing day in Kashmir. It is high time for international community to pressurize India to stop bloodshed in Kashmir.”
He further said “the way youth are fighting for their birth right, right to self determination is highly commendable. No cruelties or machinations of India could weaken the resolve of people of Jammu and Kashmir who were sacrificing their everything for complete liberation from India.” (KNS)
