Srinagar, May 09 (KNS): State Mission Director, (JKSCPS) G. A Sofi held a review meeting of District Child Protection Officers (DCPOs) of Kashmir Division which was also attended by the Protection officers Institutional and Non Institutional Care and Nodal officers.

The meeting was convened for supplementing Child Rights activities in the Division. Initiating the discussion State Mission Director, ICPS G.A Sofi welcomed the participants and briefed them on their role as enshrined under Juvenile Justice System. Dr. Farhana Asghar, Assistant Director and other officers of ICPS Directorate were also present in the meeting.

G A Sofi in his address stressed on the need of encouraging inter-sectoral linkages for making Juvenile Justice a reality on ground. He assured full co-operation o the District Officers for taking out Child Protection Services in the District to the next level, which will act as boon for all the Children of the District in particular and State in general.
