Kulgam, Sep 22 (KNS): Body of missing TA soldier was found in Mohammad Pora village of South Kashmir's Kulgam district on Wednesday after over a year.

Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the body of the missing TA soldier identified as Shakir Manzoor Wagey was found in a decomposed condition today morning in Mohammad Pora village.

Notably, Shakir Manzoor Wagey, hailing from Harmain village of Kulgam, had gone missing after he was abducted by suspected militants on August 02 last year. Later, his burnt vehicle was also found abandoned on the same day in the area.

An official said that Shakir was serving in 162 Battalion of the Territorial Army and today after over a year his body was recovered near a BSNL tower in Mohammad Pora village in a decomposed condition. (KNS)
