Baramulla 30 July(KNS): A-46-year old women who had been missing since last morning was found dead in nearby orchards in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday morning.

Sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that the women a resident of Gutiyar Baramulla was missing since last morning around 11am after she left home to go to nearby orchards for routine work but had not returned back.

However, the Baramulla police and locals tried to find him till last evening but she was not found anywhere. Source said that today morning locals re-started search operation and spotted the lady dead in local orchards.

The woman was identified as Fareeda Begum wife of Gulzar Ahmad Mir a resident of Gutiyar Baramulla.

A senior police official said that a missing report has been already registered and after all formalities, the body will be handed over to her family for last rites while the cause of death is being ascertained(KNS).
