SRINAGAR, JAN 12 (KNS) : Mirwaiz Umar Farooq expressed condolences on the passing of Kashmiri Pandit Bhushan Bazaz.
In a post on X, as per Kashmir News Service (KNS), Mirwaiz stated he was "deeply saddened" by the demise of Bazaz, who was the son of the late legendary figure Pandit Prem Nath Bazaz.
Describing the deceased as a close friend of his late father, Mirwaiz Farooq said, "Bhushan Uncle was a father-like presence in my life.

The Mirwaiz termed the loss deeply personal, saying, "His passing is a great personal loss to me and the family." He extended his condolences to Bazaz's son, Kalhan, and the wider Bazaz family. (KNS)
