Srinagar, May 18 (KNS): In connection with the ongoing Hafta-e-Shahadah (martyr’s week) being observed to commemorate the martyrdom anniversaries of Shaheed-e-Milat Moulana Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq (RA), martyrs of Hawal massacre of May 21, 1990 and the martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-e-Hurriyat Khawaja Abdul Gani Lone, Hurriyat Conference (M) will be organized a seminar at its Rajbagh headquarters on Saturday, 19 May 2019 to be presided over by the chairman of amalgam, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq while all the Hurriyat leaders and intellectuals will attend the seminar to pay glowing tributes to the martyred leaders and all the martyrs of Kashmir struggle. Hurriyat Conference (M) spokesman said that the seminar will commence at 10:30 am with the recitation of the Quran.

Meanwhile, the spokesman paid glowing tributes to the four-armed youth martyred in two separate encounters at Panzgam, Pulwama and Hathlangoo village of Sopore stating that the Kashmiri youth are being selectively targeted even in the ongoing fasting month of Ramadhan.

Spokesman said that the main reason for the ongoing bloodbath in Kashmir was the lingering dispute and until the Kashmir dispute is resolved in the backdrop of its historical perspective through sustained dialogue, there can be no guarantee to the peace in the region. (KNS)
