On the direction of the Mirwaiz, a high-level delegation of the amalgam comprising of Muhammad Musadiq Adil, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Abdul Majeed Wani, Farooq Ahmad Mamoosi, Engineer Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, Parvez Ahmad Dar and Riyaz Ahmad Bhat visited south Kashmir’s Pulwama region and paid glowing tributes to the martyred youth.
On the occasion, the Hurriyat leaders while paying tributes to the martyrs said New Delhi’s delaying tactics of keeping the Kashmir issue pending for resolution was hijacking peace in the entire region and pushing it towards more danger.
They said the biggest sufferers of the pending and unresolved Kashmir issue were the people of Kashmir who had been striving for their right to self-determination for the past seven decades.
The Hurriyat leaders said the international community was morally bound to fulfill its promises to the people of Kashmir by playing their role in the resolution of the vexed issue.

Condemning atrocities committed by the Indian forces and police on the people of Pulwama, the Hurriyat leaders said that these people have practically been left at the mercy of Indian forces, who were using excessive force and indulging in state-sponsored terrorism, to cow down the unarmed peaceful protestors.
