Denounces forces for banning book launch function at Geelani’s residence

Srinagar, Apr 23 (KNS): Paying tributes to the two martyrs who achieved martyrdom at Hayatpora Chadoora on Saturday evening, Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, said that the sacrifices offered by our youth in the wake of resisting occupation will not go waste.
Hurriyat (M) Chairman, who continues to be placed under house arrest since the last two months said that it is the collective mission and responsibility of resistance leadership and the people of Kashmir to pledge to honour and safeguard these sacrifices by staying firm on our commitment towards our just political goal.
In a statement to KNS, Mirwaiz also strongly denounced use of extreme force and unleashing of terror in Hyatpora Chadoora, and adjoining areas by the government forces by firing indiscriminate tear gas shells, pellets and bullets on people protesting the martyrdom of two youth.
