Srinagar, Nov 27 (KNS): Mirwaiz Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq has expressed grief over the partial loss caused by the fire in the Bazar Masjid at Bohri Kadal area of Shahr-e-Khaas and expressed heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the local intizaamia over the unfortunate incident.

On the direction of Mirwaiz, a delegation of the organisation visited Bohri Kadal to get information about the incident and informed the mosque administration about the concern on behalf of the Mirwaiz

According to a statement issued to KNS, AAC has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of a leading social and political activist Muhammad Ibrahim Qureshi of Abi Guzar, who is the brother-in-law of one of the leaders of the organisation Late Rauf Ahmad Dalal and also the uncle of the current member of the organisation Advocate Yasir Ahmad Dalal.

It expressed condolence and solidarity with both the Dalal and Qureshi families and prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul.

The organisation also expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Muhammad Yasin Naqash, resident of Gandrapura Safakdal, who was associated with the Awami Action Committee and a well-wisher of the Mirwaiz family.

The AAC extended condolences to the deceased's sons Farooq Ahmad and Merajuddin Naqash in this hour of sorrow and expressed solidarity with them besides praying for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul.

On the direction of Mirwaiz, a delegation of the organisation visited Abi Guzar and Safakadal and conveyed the message of condolence on behalf of Mirwaiz  to the bereaved families. The delegation members prayed for the high status in Jannah for the departed souls and the patience of the bereaved families. (KNS)
