Srinagar, Jan 18 KNS: All parties Hurriyat Conference(M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq today expressed satisfaction over the advocacy of UN and other world forums in pressuring India and Pakistan for talks on Kashmir.
In a statement issued to KNS, Mirwaiz said that these world forums understand and accept that Kashmir is a flash point between two nuclear armed countries and can prove disastrous if it remains unresolved.
“Kashmir is a political issue and it cannot be resolved on the dint of military might.

“The policy of barbarism, military might. Intellectuals, traders, lawyers, kids and civil society members have been jailed. It won’t bring normalcy here. It will further agitate people,” he said in a statement. (KNS)
