Srinagar, Feb 03 (KNS): Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Mohammad Umar Farooq has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Alhaaj Muhammad Hussain Shah of  Mughal Masjid, Hawal a beloved and well-wisher of the Mirwaiz family and a founding member of the Awami Action Committee.

Terming the demise as a personal loss, Mirwaiz paid tribute to Shah Sahib for his precious services and sacrifices towards the organisation.

In a condolence statement, Mirwaiz said the deceased was not only a founding member of the Awami Action Committee, but also a close friend of  Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz, Moulana Muhammad Farooq, he helped strengthen the organisation at all levels.

Mirwaiz said the Late Haji Hussain Shah had a very  close relations with him and the Mirwaiz family and besides being a well-known businessman, he was a person with deep  insight and has a long association with Jama Masjid Srinagar  , His demise is a great loss not only for his family but also for me as well, Mirwaiz said.

Mirwaiz expressed condolence and solidarity with the deceased’s son Prince Shah and other bereaved family members and prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul. He also prayed for Sabr-e-Jameel to the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, a high-level delegation of the organisation attended the funeral prayer of the deceased which was led by Mufti Ghulam Rasool Samoon imam of Jama Masjid srinagar , A large number of people including scores of the AAC members participated in the Namaaz-e-Janaazah of Muhammad Hussain Shah Sahib.(KNS)
