Srinagar, Feb 04 (KNS) : Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr. Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passing of Haji Ghulam Hassan Matoo of New Colony, Nigeen Mirza Bagh, Srinagar, a long-time well-wisher of the Mirwaiz family and someone deeply devoted to the pulpit and altar of the Central Jama Masjid.
In his condolence message, the Mirwaiz remembered Haji Matoo for his close association and devotion to Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq (RA), and for his selfless community and social service under his leadership.

The Mirwaiz personally visited the bereaved family to offer condolences, prayed for the departed soul, and recited Fateha.
Mirwaiz has also expressed condolences to the family of Miraj-ud-Din Masgar of Botakadal, Lal Bazar, who passed away suddenly outside Kashmir, and prayed for patience for the bereaved family and eternal peace for the deceased.(KNS)
