Srinagar, May 20 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir’s Mirwaiz, Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, who has once again been placed under house arrest by the authorities since May 03, has expressed grief and sorrow over the helicopter crash that resulted in the death of Iranian President Mr Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian, regional governor Malik Rahmati, and other associates of the President.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq described the accidental death of President Ebrahim Raisi as an irreparable loss for the Muslim world, particularly for the nation of Iran.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

In a condolence message on behalf of himself and the people of Kashmir, Mirwaiz assured the government of Iran and its citizens that they share their grief and sorrow during these trying times. He prayed to Allah Almighty for the forgiveness of the deceased and for patience, courage and perseverance for the Iranian people.(KNS)
