Srinagar, Oct 20 (KNS): Anjuman-e-Nusrat-ul-Islam President and Muttahida Majils-e-Ulema chief, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Tuesday expressed grief and shock over the death of wife of prominent social activist, intellectual and Chairman of the Islamia High School Bijbehara, Bashir Ahmad Bodha and prayed for the Jannat-ul-Firdous of the deceased and for granting forbearance to the bereaved family.
Bodha is the Chairman of the Islamia High School, Bijbehara, Islamabad, which was set up by the translator of the holy Quran in Kashmiri language, Mohajir-e-Millat, Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Yusuf Shah a century ago for eradicating ignorance and spreading knowledge and awareness in the region.
Though the school was gutted in the past, under the chairmanship of Bodha, it continues to disseminate education and spread light in the entire area despite the changing trends in education.
On the recommendations of the Mirwaiz, a high-level delegation led by Special Secretary of the prominent educational organization of Kashmir, Prof.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHabibullah Jeelani and comprising of Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulema district Islamabad chief and noted Islamic scholar, Mufti Zia-ul-Haq Nizami, Education Secretary of the Anjuman, Prof. Abdul Gani Shah, Engineer Inayatullah, Bashir Ahmad Zargar, Shabir Ahmad and Anjuman Trust Islamabad, Hajji Naseer Ahmad Sofi, Abdul Rashid and other prominent personalities visited the residence of Bashir Ahmad Bodha and expressed condolences on the death of his wife, offered Fateh Khawani prayers for the deceased and prayed to the Almighty Allah for granting Jannaut-ul-Firdous to her.
The delegation also conveyed the condolences of the Mirwaiz to the bereaved family and his message that the organization shared the grief of Bodha and was besides him in these trying times. (KNS)
