Srinagar, Jul 13 (KNS): The united resistance leadership of Kashmir had to participate in a joint programme on the Martyrs Day at the Martyrs Graveyard at Naqshband Sahab shrine and Hurriyat (M) Chairman, Mirwaiz Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq was to lead a procession after the Dhur (afternoon) prayers from Jamia Masjid, Srinagar to the Martyrs Graveyard where veteran resistance leader, Syed Ali Geelani and Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik were also scheduled to visit from their respective residences and offer congregational Fateh Khawani prayers to pay tributes to 13 July 1931 martyrs and all the other martyrs of Jammu Kashmir but the government tried to abort the programme by imposing curfew and severe restrictions throughout Kashmir valley and by sealing all roads leading to Jamia Masjid and Naqshband Sahab shrine on Wednesday.
