Srinagar, May 31 (KNS): Hurriyat (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and its media advisor, Shahid-ul-Islam continued to remain under house arrest from past five days on Wednesday.
Mirwaiz and Islam were placed under house arrest after the killing of two Hizb militants and a civilian in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The Hurriyat (M) leaders condemned the continuous house detention of both the leaders and said that barring them from offering even prayers is ‘undemocratic and direct interference in religious affairs’. (KNS)
