Mir Junaid appeals for strengthening brotherhood in cultural festival at Langate

Langate, July 16 (KNS): Mir Junaid, President Jammu & Kashmir Workers Party, participated in a cultural festival organised by Ministry of Cultural Affairs, in North Kashmirs Langate.

On the occasion Mir, said that his home town Langate is an epitome of peace, communal harmony, cultural & religious diversity. Mir congratulated the people of Langate for maintaining brotherhood and amity and said that this atmosphere of tolerance is a prerequisite for the development of J&K.

He further added that such festivals are beautiful carnival of syncretic culture that Kashmir is known for. He also stressed on preserving this rich culture is the moral and ethical duty of every Kashmiri.

Mir also interacted with the people of Langate on the occasion. He listened to the grievances of general public and took stock of the basic amenities and the underdevelopment left by dynasty parties in Jammu & Kashmir. Mir promised that a new dawn is just around the corner and in this new dawn of democratic politics, youth have risen from grassroots will lead from the front. And that would be the first and essential step to pull Kashmir valley of this quagmire of problems that it faces.

Pertinent to mention here that Mir Junaid was on two days visit to Langate area where in he met the locals, listened their grievances, and visited many places for overall developmental programs of the area. (KNS)
