Kupwara, July 04 (KNS): Peoples Conference Senior Leader and Social Worker Mohd Majnoon Mir Monday greeted people on Eid-ul-Fitr and said that the party and its Chairman Sajad Gani Lone share the sentiments with devotees on pious days of Eid Eve with the hope that these occasions will be marked with harmony and reconciliation. Mir said that PC has always been concerned about the distressed lot of the state and it is in this context that party also makes an appeal for austerity and simplicity on the auspicious occasions.

Mir said that the spirit behind the observance of Eid-ul-Fitr is to express our thanks to Almighty Allah for giving us the courage to observe fast in the month of Ramdhan and rededicate ourselves to the truthfulness, sincerity, self control, patience and human dignity showing complete obedience to Allah.
“PC prays for peace, brotherhood, tolerance and prosperity in the region,” Mir said adding party will continue to contribute to this process with utmost sincerity and respect for its struggle and commitment of workers. (KNS)
