Srinagar, Aug 16 (KNS): Expressing deep sorrow over the unfortunate incidents of firing killings in several people lost their lives in Aripanthan Beerwah Budgam and Larkipora Anantnag leaving dozens injured, JKPCC Chief G. A. Mir has condemned the firing on unarmed people.
Terming the unabated civilian killings as highly deplorable and objectionable, he questioned both State and Centre Govt. how long incidents of killings will continue? He said the situation in valley is He asked the Coalition Govt.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channelof PDP and BJP to explain as to why the Govt. is not able to control such type of incidents. He said situation is beyond the control of State Govt.
PCC Chief strong urged the forces to stop firing on unarmed persons and exercise maximum restraint, as the use of brutal force has damaged the peace in the valley, making people feel apprehensive and unsafe.
Mir also reiterated his appeal to people especially youth to maintain calm. (KNS)
