Threadbare discussions held over organizational structure

JKPCC Chief G. A. Mir called on AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi today in New Delhi.
“During one-to-one meet many aspects of political and socio-economic development obtaining in the state, came under discussion. Threadbare discussions were held with regard to rejuvenation of the party further from booth level. Both the leaders also discussed the organizational structure in the State. JK PCC chief also apprised Rahul about the ongoing membership drive in the State,” a Congress spokesman said in a statement to KNS.
“Mir informed Rahul regarding the efforts of the Congress for seeking resolution of the problems confronting people due to wrong polices of PDP-BJP coalition in the State. JK PCC Chief also informed Rahul about the post flood situations people are facing due to lack of funding for relief and rehabilitation of the flood affected people from the centre.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe further informed Rahul about the inability of Coalition government in the State to seek adequate funding for flood affected people,” he said.
“The AICC Vice President felt confident that Party in J&K is emerging as a more vibrant situation and the efforts being made by the Party for resolution of people’s issues as a constructive opposition, is commendable,” the spokesman added.
Later the JKPCC Chief also met AICC General Secretary Ambika Soni at her residence. “Both the leaders discussed organizational structure and the role to be played by it (Congress) ahead,” he added.
