Mir said the cabinet of which he was a part had proposed 44000 crores to centre as relief package which included Rs 10 lakhs to people who lost their homes in flood. Some amount was paid by that government as immediate relief.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelMir said that present government failed to get that package from centre and is indulging in one or the other issue to divert attention of people from rehabilitation of flood victims.
Today when the state is yet to recover from destruction done by floods and rehabilitate the flood victims, PDP has started celebrating its revival instead of mourning .The September floods not only washed the precious lives but the economy of state in 1000s of corers, i failed to understand why the coalition partner of PDP is not looking forward to rehabilitate the flood victims. Instead of mourning they started celebrating the deluge; this clearly indicates the PDPs benefits from floods at the cost of suffering flood victims. (KNS)
