Pulwama, May 13 (KNS): Minister for Agriculture Mohd Khalil Bandh, today visited Pulwama where several deputations meet him at circuit house Pulwama.
The delegations from the different areas of the district apprised the minister with their demands and grievances, whereas the deputation of PHE employees apprised the minister about their pending salaries.
Deputations presented the problems related to PHE, electricity, Health, and renovation of roads, up gradation of lanes and drains, renovation of water supply schemes and digging of wells for the irrigation purposes.
While giving a patient hearing, Minister said that the Government is committed to the welfare of the public and to mitigate the problems faced by public. Later on, Minister visited Eidgah jadeed and take stock of the ongoing work on it. He also inspect the proposed site for the construction of community facilitation centre where four storey building will be construct at the cost of 796.66 lacs in which 1500 people can participate at a time in any function .
He emphasized upon the concerned agencies to complete all the required work especially renovation and beautification of Eidgah so that the projects can be completed within stipulated time. (KNS)
