Baramulla, Jan 01 (KNS) : As part of Road Safety Month from 01 to 31 January, the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Minga Sherpa today flagged off a road safety awareness rally to sensitise the public about safe driving practices and traffic discipline.
The rally, organised by the Motor Vehicles Department, was flagged off with prominently displayed awareness banners highlighting key road safety messages, including wearing seat belts and helmets, avoiding overspeeding, refraining from drink-driving, and not using mobile phones while driving.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasised that road safety is a shared responsibility and called upon drivers, commuters and pedestrians to strictly adhere to traffic rules to prevent accidents and save lives.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe initiative aims to create mass awareness across the district throughout the month.
