Srinagar, July 23 (KNS): Militants shot dead a civilian in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday late evening, police said. 

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that militants fired indiscriminately upon a civilian identified as Javeed Ahmad Malik near his house at Larugam area of Tral.

He said that the injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.

“Area has been cordoned off to nab the militants," the official said. (KNS)
