Srinagar, 11 April (KNS) : The militants who were involved in the killing of territorial army jawan were killed in an encounter within two days in Bijbehara village of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday. 

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS) two unidentified militants were killed in an encounter between government forces and militants in semthan Bijbehara village of anantnag district. 

The encounter began on Saturday afternoon after government forces and launched a search operation in the area following inputs about the presence of Militants in the area, as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot the militants fired upon them which was retaliated triggering off an encounter. 

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar confirmed to Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the militants slain in Bijbehara gunfight were responsible for the killing of army territorial jawan. (KNS)
