Srinagar, Jan 22 (KNS): A militant was killed in the ongoing encounter that broke out between militants and security forces in Shopian district on Saturday afternoon, police said here.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that encounter broke out in Kilbal village of Shopian today afternoon.

He said that in the ensuing encounter a militant has been, while operation was going on.
