Militancy has increased under AAP govt patronage : Chugh

Amritsar January 23 (KNS):  BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today said here that there had been a steep rise in militant activities ever since the AAP government has come to power.

Talking to media persons he said the influx of weapons and explosive material smuggled from Pakistan has gone up steeply during the AAP government's tenure because people know it well that Arvind Kejriwal has a soft corner for the divisive forces in Punjab.

He said there had been over two dozen incidents in which militants attacked not only the common man but the police stations in the state in the last six months.

Moreover, the Punjab government has failed miserably to control the influx of drones coming from Pakistan, which means that drugs and ammunition coming from Pakistan have increased manifold.

Chugh said law and order machinery in the state has collapsed miserably and there is a sense of fear and uncertainty among people of all classes.(KNS)
